Jean-Christophe Fromantin, President

Jean-Christophe Fromantin Président EXPOFRANCE 2025

Jean-Christophe Fromantin has been mayor of Neuilly-sur-Seine since 2008 and representative of the Hauts-de-Seine since 2012. Entrepreneur in international commerce, he has created many businesses and is one of the few entrepreneurs to sit at the National Assembly. With Jean-Louis Borloo, he created in 2012 the UDI group at the National Asembly and then participated in creating the UDI of which he was a candidate to the presidency in November 2014.

Convinced that France is in need of a great project confirming its goal towards globalization, setting its growth areas and stimulating its attractiveness, Jean-Christophe Fromantin is the instigator of the project of France’s 2025 World Expo. 

 
Christian de Boissieu, Vice-chairman

Christian de Boissieu Vice-président d'EXPOFRANCE 2025

Christian de Boisseu is an academic and a French economist, member of the Academy of technologies. Specialist in monetary and banking issues, he has held numerous functions as an economic advisor to banks and investment funds until he was nominated in 2012 as a part of the College of Authorities of the financial markets.

Since 2000 he has been regularly called on an as expert by the French media.

 


Luc Carvounas, Vice-chairman

Luc Carvounas is Senator of the Val-de-Marne and mayor of Alfortville. Vice-President of the Socialist Group, he has been invested for many years in all matters regarding the tourism industry. He has co-piloted a group during the conference of Tourism in 2004 and is a member of the Council promoting Tourism. 


Sylvain Orebi, Vice-chairman

After studying at the ESCP Europe, Sylvain Orebi started his carreer as a dealer in agricultural raw materials. In 2001 with his brother Orientis he created www.orientis.fr to buy back the oldest importer/distributor of green coffee from the Havre, Olivier-Langlois.

In 2003 he buys back the Kousmichoff house and decides to reboot the institution founded in Saint-Petersbourg in 1867. He then reintroduced its brand as Kusmi Tea, which he positioned with great success at the highest level in France and abroad.

In parallel, in order to meet the increasing demand of premium infusions he launched the brand Løv Organic. Orientis has also shareholdings in the companies Marlette and Laura Todd Cookies. The whole, sweet delicatessen has made a profit of 55 million euros in 2014 and has hired 450 people.

Sylvain Orebi has always been strongly committed to entrepreneurs. He has been co-hosting for the past six years the show BFM Academy on BFM Business and is a mentor at the Institut of Entrepreneurial Mentorship (IME) which aims to increase the number of middle-market companies in France by helping to accelerate the growth of SME with strong potential. In 2012 he received from the “Société d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale” the Montgolfier Award of Commerce and Transportation.

With a Masters Degree in marketing and corporate communication from the University Panthéon-Assas, she stared her career with La Poste before joining EXPOFRANCE2025 in September 2013. Versatile, always even tempered and very enthusiastic regarding the success of the project, she loves a challenge and counts on you to make this great project a reality.

Amélie de Chitray, Partnerships

Amélie de Chitray chargée de mission ateliers

Amelie started off her career in a multinational company (PSA Peugeot-Citroen) after graduation from a Parisian business school and before taking alone a trip around the world. Then she played a key role in launching a start-up in Organic Farming before conducting a mission as a free-lance consultant in touristic development for the international renowned Estate of CHAMBORD.

Her achievements made her develop skills in project and change management, business development, operational marketing and events organization.

Dynamic and result-oriented, she is service-minded and draws her strength in challenge and team-work

Anne-Laure Mondon, Research officer

Anne-Laure Mondon chargée d'études expofrance 2025

With a degree in global economy from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a DESS «Transportation, Territories and Environment » from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, she works mainly with territorial collectivities where she has held various positions as a task officer in the fields of transportation and urban mobility, great development projects, strategies in urban development and metropolitan planning.

She will be part of the EXPOFRANCE 2025 team for six months as a research officer (whose main goal will be to coordinate the writing of the draft proposal of the candidacy).
